My Story
My journey began in Nigeria, where I earned a B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry from Bowen University before transitioning into financial services at Guaranty Trust Bank in Lagos, managing a loan portfolio worth $1.5M and growing the team's customer base by 5,000 accounts.
I moved to the United States to pursue graduate studies, earning an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Houston-Victoria (GPA 4.0), followed by an M.Sc. in Data Analytics from Harrisburg University. During this time, I conducted research on financial modeling, stock market analysis, and the impact of global events on financial markets.
Today, as VP at FirstBank Colorado, I've originated over $150MM in loans, leveraging data science and analytical skills across Salesforce, Tableau, and financial modeling tools. I'm also pursuing a PhD in Cyber Technology Management and actively driving initiatives in financial literacy through gamification and community development programs.
